Choose a secure password
We take online security seriously. Because of that, we recommend that everyone takes steps to ensure their account is safe and protected. Having a strong password helps you protect your personal info and also helps you prevent someone else from getting into your account. Here are some tips on how to create a strong password.
Meet password requirements
Use 8 characters or more when creating your password. You can use a combination of capital and lowercase letters, numbers and standard symbols (! @ # $ % ^ & *).
Avoid the obvious. Don’t make it easy for people to guess your password by using common passwords like “password123”.
Make your password unique
Choose a unique password for each service that you use. Reusing passwords for important accounts is risky. If you use your League password elsewhere and that service is compromised, then attackers could use that information to access your League account. To help you remember multiple passwords you can use a trusted password manager like 1Password or LastPass.
Create long passwords
A good password should be easy for you to remember but hard for a stranger to guess. Using a long password that contains lyrics from a song, a quote from a movie or just a combination of random words works well.
Avoid personal info
Things like your birthday or your nickname can make it easy for people to figure it out and gain access to your account.
